Welcome

I’m a freelance graphic designer, based outside of Chicago, with over 20 years of design experience including ad agency background. Coming from a family of artists and designers, instilled early, a natural eye for good design and layout - and disdain for the opposite.

In high school, I decided that graphic design was my niche, a way to funnel art into a productive career. And so I went on to earn my B.A. in Fine Art with a concentration in graphic design from Eastern Illinois University while also competing on both the Cross-Country and Track & Field teams. “It’s not work if you love what you do”… and both of those passions fell into that category.

I started with designing packaging for a leading producer and distributor of feature film and television content to a full service ad agency and then to freelancing. Freelancing was a natural progression when I left my job to stay at home with my firstborn. I loved the attention I was able to give to each project as opposed to the rigor of insane deadlines and burnout. Whether it’s a small local business, a microbrewery or a world leader of medical diagnostic equipment, the creativity and drive I give to each project is no different.

Perfection and details are a passion for me. Every project, big or small, is a challenge I love to solve using my skillset and experience (and always with my trusty rescue as my shadow).
